I'm not overly religious. I believe in a higher power that I just happen to call God out of convenience. I also believe in karma. I believe if you fuck up, he'll let you know that you fucked up and won't let you forget it until you repent. I also believe he tries to lessen the blow and I do believe he sent a certain someone my way to do just that.

How is it that someone I've known for only a few months already feels like a bestie? And why would she willingly sign on earlier just to talk to me and then stay up later to be there for me even though she has to wake up early?

o____o How do you even analyze that without utterly mindfucking yourself? There is no explanation. I've just been given this great friend and I can hear the big man upstairs saying "Don't fuck it up. Don't you fuck it up." I won't. I swear I won't. Not if I can help it.

I've fucked up a lot of things and pushed a lot of people away before letting them know that I am vulnerable. The difference between everyone I've done that to and Sara? I stopped feeling like I have to pretend. My defenses are down and she makes me feel like I don't have to put up this "I am untouchable" front. No one is. Everybody hurts.

I can't really explain this relationship. It sort of came out of nowhere. Once upon a time, I was pushing her away too out of fear. Stupid fears. And I dunno how it happened but I guess something about her got me to spill. I never spill. People know this. I never talk about myself on such a deep level. Ask Andrew, ask Darryn, ask Ari, ask Amber, hell ask Libby. But this girl comes along and... I'm spilling my guts and for the first time in fucking forever I feel like someone gets me. Someone isn't judging me. Someone's just listening and understanding and just being a friend. That's exactly what she is but she's got this motherly/big sister air to her. You know it's something special when you can feel mothered from miles away. I still can't believe she'd actually stay up to make sure I was okay. Just... x___x I don't feel worthy. How do you make it up to someone like that? And I know she isn't someone who's trying to be nice. She's just being herself and that's what's shocking. I'd almost stopped believing that you can actually meet people who still give a fuck. Like, she actually cares. I CAN'T WRAP MY MIND AROUND THAT. Dx It's like, why care about me? I adore her. This isn't a competition of 'who do I like best' or 'who I replaced with whom' and such. I like all my friends differently. The only reason I have to mention Sara so much is because I haven't ever spoken to someone so understanding since... Well, it's been years. She just gets me and gives me this constant sense of 'you're not alone'. Sure, when I'm not online, real life is what I concern myself with but that doesn't mean I don't think of her. I don't want to label her as just some online friend. That sounds detached in a way that I don't care for. When I sign on later in the evening, I look forward to talking to her. It's the perfect end to my day and I'd be really sad if I wasn't able to talk to her for a while.

If we never rped together, it wouldn't even bother me. I'm not talking to her for the rps. Maybe I was when we first met, not anymore. I talk to her because she's awesome and because she cares and she makes me laugh way too hard.

Kurt Cobain seriously reminds me of Brady. o_O Minus the whole obsession with scat and watersports and such. And I don't think Brady would try and kill himself. But all the same, I see similarities. Thought I'd mention this since I'm re-reading Heavier than Heaven. I can't ever finish the book without feeling a bit sad and frustrated. I guess he just couldn't take it.

I'm having one of those days where things aren't great but they aren't horrible either. There's an upside and there's a downside. We'll call it life and sit back and watch the story unfold.

I'm exhausted in ways I can't describe. There's this demon. We'll call him mundane and he sucks the energy out of me. I'm waiting for some cathartic moment to happen. I think I'm reaching that overdone state of 'idgaf' and while it's almost a relief, it's a shame to see it happen. It's like, caring hurts but not caring seems like such a cop out. I really couldn't handle this without Sara. She's my rock. It's difficult to believe we only just met... what... Last week of Feb and then she disappeared for a bit but now it feels like we've been tight for ages. Yanno, I've got a lot of irl friends that make me smile and such and that's great. I can talk to the likes of Andrew and Darryn for ages about absolutely nothing and we're still rofling. (yeah somehow my guy pals have always been easiest to talk to).

But Sara... She doesn't have to put up with this. She doesn't have to deal with my issues. It's so weird. All my friends ever did was complain that I never open up and along comes this adorable Azn and boom. I'm spilling my guts out left and right. I guess some people just have that air to them. They make you feel like you can trust them and that they genuinely care about your feelings. Like you were meant to meet them because they'd take the hurt away. I knew when we first talked that we'd get along. She's so chill. So funny. So pervy in all the right ways rofl

She's so... nice? A stupid way to describe her but I'm serious. If she gets frustrated with me, she hasn't shown it. She's patient, gives wicked advice and just sounds like she'd give a shit if I was down. It would probably break my heart if she ever went through a tough time and didn't tell me. Because she's been there for me when I needed an ear.

I know you're reading this... And I know I've said it a billion times but I'm gonna say it again. Thank you. o__o I'd likely quit aim if it weren't for you. I'd probably let people walk all over me if it weren't for you. When you sign on and send me an im, I brighten up and forget all my worries. I don't care if this is 'just the internet'. You've been a great friend and I hope some day I can return the favour.
